Description
Anthurium andraeanum is a species of flowering plant in the family Araceae. It is native to Colombia and Ecuador. It is an evergreen plant that produces showy, bright red, heart-shaped flowers and glossy, dark green leaves. The flowers are actually modified leaves, known as spathes, that surround the actual flowers, which are tiny and yellow.
