Fatsia japonica is an evergreen shrub native to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. It has large, glossy, palmate leaves and produces small, white flowers in the fall. The plant can grow up to 16 feet (5 meters) tall and 10 feet (3 meters) wide in ideal conditions.
