Begonia maculata is a species of flowering plant in the family Begoniaceae, native to Brazil. It is a perennial plant that can grow up to 2 feet (60 cm) tall and 1.5 feet (45 cm) wide. It has striking leaves that are asymmetrical and shaped like an angel wing, with a dark green color and silver spots on the upper side, and a red color on the underside.
